Isabel Isaacson

Isabel spent most of her working life at Butterworths law publishers. She began in the editorial department, working on books for lawyers and law students, before moving into editorial management. After that she was responsible for commissioning new titles and new editions for the Butterworths academic list.

She has previously assisted on PTC Courses such as Managing Editorial Freelances and courses on controlling editorial costs run by Women in Publishing. Early retirement has enabled her to return to tutoring. She has a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Reading.
