Complaints and Appeals Procedures
From time to time a student may have concerns about some aspect of their experience of the course they are studying. The Complaints and Appeals procedure provides a process for the student to express those concerns and have them assessed in a fair and impartial way.
Complaints
There are five categories for a complaint:
(a) PQB’s general customer service
(b) Course content
(c) A Tutor
(d) The Online Platform (Self-Study)
(e) Grade awarded for an assignment or the final grade. (Please note that there is an Appeals procedure regarding Grades, see below)
We recommend that you download and read the current version of the PQB Complaints Procedure before submitting a formal complaint.

Appeals
The appeal procedure is applicable when a student wishes to contest the grade awarded for an assignment, or the final grade awarded for the Basic Proofreading, Essential Copy-editing or Creative Copywriting Self-Study courses offered by the Publishing Qualifications Board.
